It is with profound sadness that I share the news of my beloved youngest son’s passing. He has joined our Lord, and while we mourn his absence, we also cherish the beautiful memories he created. He was not only my son but also a cherished friend and colleague to many. His kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism touched so many lives, and I hope that his spirit continues to inspire us all to honor his legacy through our actions.

Dan was integral to the installation and support of thousands of systems across Xenial-empowered brands, and he developed automated tools to service the installation teams.

  • Dan trained a team to install CHEF, a product that helps restaurants know how much food to prepare, and that ensures the food is held at the correct temperature. CHEF was deployed internationally in over 8000 Restaurants.

  • Dan was frequently brought in to assist with content delivery for the digital menu board (DMB) product, which displays dynamic menus to fast food customers in thousands of restaurants, both inside and in the drive-thru. In addition to the informative purpose, DMBs passively upsell and steer customers toward profitable menu items. 42% of customers are influenced by digital menu boards, and they will spend 20% more per order. DMBs also help restaurants to avoid substantial printing and expedited shipping costs.

  • Dan was vital in an effort to integrate Xenial point-of-sale systems with online ordering platforms such as Uber and Doordash. He helped to stand up the team that proactively monitored for success, and developed systems for deploying the reporting configurations needed to do wonderful things like deliver free kids meals in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
